Please allow 2 weeks.Click here to order on-line WHEN YOU HONOR AN INDIVIDUAL WITH A STAR CERTIFICATE EVERYONE BENEFITS! Some of the people within the school district you may wish to acknowledge are below, but this is not a complete list. CLASSROOM AIDES for assisting teachers with day-to-day lesson plans. SCHOOL SECRETARY who provides the missing forms, or sees to it that forgotten lunches and homework get to the right destination. PTO MEMBERS who show relentless energy throughout the year planning events and raising funds for extra curricular activities enjoyed by so many. THE LUNCH LADIES for being so nice during the noisiest part of the day. CUSTODIANS who get the schools ready for the next day. LIBRARIAN AIDES who inspire our children to read. NURSES for providing band-aids, good common sense, and occasional spare clothing articles when needed. PRINCIPAL or ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL who keeps the school running smoothly. CROSSING GUARDS who through snow, sleet or rain keep children safe getting to and from school. THE COACH who encourages that extra effort! |

The Stoneham Public Schools Foundation recently presented a check for $5,600 to the School Committee. $3,600 is to fund the Spring Intramural program at the Middle School while $2,000 helped provide two AED's (Automated External Defibrillator) for the Middle School. This was the result of an Eagle Scout project, by Chris Gardner, which helped to place 2 AED's in each of Stoneham's six public schools.
