Foundation Presents Check for Winter

The Foundation recently presented a check to the School Department for $3,600 to fund Intramural sports at the Middle School.  This was the first year the Middle School has had an intramural program since 2005.  The Foundation has also committed to fund the program for this spring as well as the coming fall season. This support has allowed for three activities, during each season, for 3 afternoons a week over 9 weeks.

During this current school year the foundation has been able to provide funding for the Pep Band and Math Team at the High School. At the Middle School we have funded Intramurals sports and provided part of the funding for Jump, UP and Go.  In the elementary schools we have been able to fund the instrumental program for the first half of the year.
