The 2nd Annual Stoneham Public Schools Foundation Road Race had a great day and a great turn out. With over a 150 Runners, Race Walkers and Walkers there was some fun for everybody. The event starts with a Kids run at 8:30 and with the Main Race starting a 9am. Craig Fram was the first runner to cross the finish line with a time of 16 minutes 37.3 second, a new race record.

The Stoneham Appreciation & Recognition Award is a certificate program is designed to acknowledge teachers and other individuals for their contribution to the classroom, administration or school operations. It is also a great opportunity for anyone in town who wishes to acknowledge another individual, family or organization outside of the school district.
HOW IT WORKS

To date we have accomplished:
· Funded the High School Math Team twice.
· Provided an additional Coach for Girls Spring Track.
· Help fund the Boys & Girls Freshmen Basketball.
· Assisted the Boys Tennis team in their Fund raising efforts.
· Arranged for a donation of large white boards to replace the chalk boards in some of the Middle School classrooms.

Kids cross the finish line during the Stoneham Public Schools Foundation 1st Annual Road Race, Race Walk, Walk and Kids Fun Run.
The Stoneham Public Schools Foundation hosted it first road
race on Saturday 9/15/2007. While the weather may have
been a little rainy we had over 200 people turn out to run, race
walk or walk the course.

The Stoneham Public Schools Foundation hosted it’s first ever Mini-Golf Tournament. Organized by Randy Perillo the event had 110 golfer spread out over three flights. Some of the other activities included a smaller course, designed and built by the Stoneham Middle School 7th graders, sand art, raffles and slush.
We would like to thank everybody who helped setup the event and all those who participated and made it a success.
